Following the Fatherless came to me as a production in trouble. The budget had been almost entirely depleted and the resulting story was not what the producer had set out to make. After firing the original director, I was hired to evaluate the footage and find the most compelling story that most closely aligned with the original intent.
I developed a pitch that primarily used the existing footage but added voice-over (that’s my voice actually) as well as additional interviews with the producers. My pitch was accepted and I was hired to write and re-edit the piece, as well as produce the final artwork used for DVD/Blu-Ray distribution, printed collateral and digital.
