A fiery private investigator in Austin races against a prejudiced criminal justice system and infiltrates a shadowy underworld to solve a string of grisly murders in order to save the life of her wrongfully accused werewolf client.
The modern world has pushed back enough of the wild and dark places of this planet that governments have been forced to acknowledge the existence of the supernatural. Treaties, natural rights, and regulations have all been ratified, passed, and codified into laws while largely being kept secret from an unsuspecting public. Arcane glamours have been enacted by powerful magic users to re-strengthen the Veil between the “Rational World” and the realms of the supernatural.
Federal, state, and local governments have entire agencies, departments, and law enforcement divisions dedicated to keeping the balance between the two worlds. Unfortunately they are run entirely by humans and have by-and-large become government oppression of our newest global citizens. Humans who gain “True Sight” and see through the Veil are often faced with the choice of fighting to maintain their status quo, championing the rights of the unseen, or forgetting what they’ve learned.
Austin, vibrant and full of life, has always been a bit of an odd place. Glamour is set in this world’s version of Austin. Ramona Martinez and Matt Davidson are two humans dedicated to protecting the rights of their supernatural neighbors and the series would continue with their investigations and fights against an unjust system that most are completely unaware of.
