Category - Screenplays
When I’m not writing brand and marketing copy, I spend time writing my true passion – screenplays. I grew up on a steady diet of junky genre cinema and TV, so when I sat down to write my first screenplay, I knew exactly the types of stories I wanted to tell – modern junky genre fare. But unlike some of the B-movies of my youth, I wanted my stories to have purpose. So I write junkfood that actually has something to day. Here are a few of the projects I’ve been working on lately.
TV Pilots:
- Glamour: A fiery private investigator in Austin races against a prejudiced criminal justice system and infiltrates a shadowy underworld to solve a string of grisly murders in order to save the life of her wrongfully accused werewolf client.
- Displacement: When a peaceful teen from the streets of Compton accidentally travels through time, he witnesses his grandfather commit murder. Now he must fight to change the past without violence before he loses his time traveling ability.
- The Last Best Place: A close-to-retirement rural Montana sheriff discovers his county has become ground zero for black market pharmaceutical trafficking and he must clean up his county while holding off a DEA scorched-earth approach.
- Dead End Job: A troubled young man wrestles with whether he is mentally ill or really can see ghosts when his best friend asks him to help solve his murder.
